Doe dan mee aan de Hollandse Luchten Hackathon en werk met unieke luchtkwaliteitsdata van sensoren, verzameld door bewoners in Noord-Holland! Samen gaan we op zoek naar slimme oplossingen die bewoners helpen meer inzicht te krijgen in de luchtkwaliteit in hun omgeving.
Drie uitdagende challenges
🔎 Wie zit ernaast? Gebruik (een combinatie van) slimme methodes om afwijkende sensoren automatisch te herkennen, zodat bewoners met vertrouwen met data aan de slag kunnen.
🌍 Ontdek de hotspots van vervuiling Gebruik AI en data-analyse om bronnen van luchtvervuiling zichtbaar te maken door grote hoeveelheden data te analyseren.
🤖 Help bewoners met eenvoudiger analyseren Bouw een intelligente assistent die bewoners helpt hun meetdata te analyseren, begrijpen en te interpreteren zonder dat zij daarvoor zelf een data-analist hoeven te zijn.
Tijdens de hackathon werk je samen met experts en betrokkenen van onder andere provincie Noord-Holland, Waag Futurelab, RIVM, TNO, GGD, meetgroepen en Hollandse Luchten. Niet alleen om een technisch sterke oplossing te ontwikkelen, maar vooral om iets te maken dat daadwerkelijk bruikbaar is voor bewoners.
Prijzen
Natuurlijk zijn er prijzen voor de winnaars. Zo zorgen we voor publiciteit (bijvoorbeeld met artikelen of een presentatie op een congres), kun je een cursus volgen en kun je betrokken blijven bij de doorontwikkeling van jouw idee. Als we na de zomer de aanmeldingen open zetten, kun we je hier meer over vertellen.

Hackathon Hollandse Luchten
Are you a data scientist, AI specialist, researcher, developer, student in a relevant field, or simply passionate about data? Would you like to use your expertise to contribute to a healthier living environment?
Then join the Hollandse Luchten Hackathon and work with unique air quality datasets collected by residents through sensors across North Holland. Together, we will explore smart solutions that help residents gain deeper insights into the air quality in their local area
Three exciting challenges
🔎 Spot the Outliers Use smart methods – or a combination of approaches – to automatically identify sensors that produce unusual measurements, helping residents work with data they can trust.
🌍 Discover Pollution Hotspots Apply AI and data analytics to identify sources of air pollution by analysing large volumes of sensor data.
🤖 Help Residents Analyse Data More Easily Build an intelligent assistant that helps residents analyse, understand and interpret their sensor data, without needing to be data analysts themselves.
During the hackathon, you will collaborate with experts and stakeholders from organisations including the Province of North Holland, RIVM, TNO, GGD, local monitoring groups and Hollandse Luchten. The goal is not only to develop technically strong solutions, but also to create tools and insights that are genuinely useful for residents.
Prizes
Of course, there will be prizes for the winning teams. We are aiming to offer opportunities such as publicity for your solution (for example through articles or presentations at conferences and events), professional training opportunities, and the chance to remain involved in the further development of your idea.
